I am currently reading a book called "Secrets of my Hollywood Life: On Location" by Jen Calonita. In this book, I feel sympathy for the main character,Kaitlin Burke, because she is a famous actress in Hollywood and she never gets time to herself. Wherever she goes she is followed by paparazzi and always finds embarrassing pictures of herself in the latest magazines. The reason I feel bad for her is because I know that I always need some time to myself, and she never gets any without being disturbed!
I am currently reading the Mediator Series. I feel bad for the main character,Sue, because almost everyday in her life she has to deal with ghosts. Many times, the ghosts appear at bad times, like at school or parties and Sue has to secretly help them move on and get out. I feel sympathy for her because it is like she doesn't have a real life. She also gets in trouble from lying to her parents when ghosts get her into risky situations. Her daily life seems like a pure struggle! (Gabby S)
I read a series called, A Series of Unfortunate Events. I feel sympathy for the Baudelaire children for a few reasons. First of all, their parents died when they were very young. Violet was only 14, Klaus was only 12, and Sunny was just a baby. After that they are placed under the care of Count Olaf, an evil villain who tries to steal their fortune from the day he’s their guardian, and continues to, following them in different disguises. I think they have a very sad life, and I am very lucky that I don’t have an evil villain following me everywhere. (Daniel J)

Then she finds out that her mom might be going to europe before the wedding of her sister and she will be home alone. I coulnd't imagine all this stuff happening to me and being in the middle of it.
I just finished the book "The Truth About Forever" by Sarah Dessen. I feel bad for the main character, Macy, because her dad passed away, and she is having trouble moving on. Her mother is constantly working, and never has time for Macy. Also, her boyfriend went to camp for the summer, and then he broke up with her. I can't even imagine the kind of stress I would be under if I were in that situation. I'm just glad that Macy figured out how to deal with her problems. Read the book to find out how! (Sarah M.)

I feel symapthy for the main character, Reed Brennen, because she often has very difficult desions to make between family, friends, and boyfriends. Sometimes, the police even get involved and she is put in very difficult situations. If I had to make disions like those or were caught in such horrifying situations, I would hardly survive her boarding school.

I am currently reading The Mediator Series by Meg Cabot a.k.a. Jenny Carol. I feel sympathy for the main character, Suze. I feel bad for her because she always has ghosts popping in on her with problems. She can't even have a life because these ghosts won't leave her alone, and she is supposed to be responsible for helping them. I am reading the book The Catcher and the Rye. The main character, Holden Caufield is very different. He sees life as it comes at him. Throughout the story he continuously gets kicked out of prep schools, but doesn't really care. Then after he gets kicked out of his last prep school, he ventures to New York. While he is in Ney York all his friends are mostly in school, so he gets very depressed. This is why i feel sympathy for Holden Caufield.

She gets all the latest fashion styles before anyone else and gets to travel as well. Since her mom is so famous she gets a really good job. She is feeling really good that she has a job most fashion obsessed people dream about. She gets into some sticky situations but she always gets herself out! A book that I’m reading is called A Little Princess by Frances Hodgson Burnett. I feel bad for the main character Sara. In the beginning of the book Sara was this rich girl who her father sent to boarding school. One day her father died and his family lost all their money, including Sara. Sara became a maid for her boarding school, and at first she had trouble coping with it. She figures out her problems by pretending she is a princess. If everything happened to me like what happened to Sara I have no idea how I would deal with it, but Sara is a brave little girl who never gives up.
Right now I'm reading Jane Eyre and in the book Jane is a child found on the side of the road taken in by a kind starnger(Uncle Reed) but as soon Uncle Reed dies a couple of years later she is left with her evil Aunt who treats her unfairly because shes not related to them. I feel bad for Jane because she has to go through so much.
I have sympothy for Edward from the book twilight by Stephanie Meyer, because since he is a vampire, he cannot catch a break. He is always quiet andnot communicating wth anyone all day untill Bella comes along. He finally falls in love, and by finally I mean in all his years of eternal life, he has never found someone that he likes. I also feel sorry for him because he keeps telling Bella that his love for her will be the end of him. This is one dramatic character, yet, feel sympothetic.
I feel sympathy for Percy Jackson in The Lightning Thief because he has to face Ares the god of war, Cerberus, Medusa, and the minotaur. Also I feel bad for him because his mom got taken captive by hades.
I feel sorry for Darren Shan because he was a good kid. That is until he found out about vampires ad got pulled into their plot. Then after spending years learning their cruel ways he begins to become like them. Eventually he becomes just as cruel and at the very end realizes it as he dies and regrets all of his horrible acts.

In the book Miracle Worker the character Helen Keller was blind and deaf, but she was very spoiled. She would get whatever she wants and since she couldn’t see, Annie Sullivan would help Helen write, and use sign language. When Helen she grew older she was better at writing. I just finished reading the PRIVATE series. The main character has a boyfriend who gets killed, and her new boyfriend is accused of killing him! Reed, the main character, is a part of a private school in CT. Her whole "clique" of friends keep on accusing Reeds boyfriend for killing her dead boyfriend. The books are really intense and interesting to read because of all the suspense. I feel bad for Reed, however, because she keeps on getting caught between believing her friends or her boyfriend, plus she lives far away from her family so she can't really go to them for advice. Reed is learning how to deal with serious things, which I think is really tough.
I feel sympathy for Helen Keller in The Miracal Worker, because she is deff, blind, and mute. She can't really comunicate with the outside world. Even, though she sometimes throws tantroms, I feel bad that she has all those disabilities.

I have just read a book about Shannon Miller, who is a Olympic gymnast. I feel for Shannon because when she hurt something, like when she pulled a ligament it wasn't that bad. But her coach did care and made her keep practiceing. So she went through the pain. Two years went by and the pain didn't go away so see had a docotor look at it, it got worser, so she couldn't do gymnastics for six weeks. Her coach was really mad but it was his fult. In the Pendragon series I feel bad for the main character, Bobby Pendragon. He was just a normal guy having a really nice life and he randomly gets thrown into all this madness about being the only hope in saving the universe against a demon who can't be killed. Every five seconds he's being thrown into a whole new situation, and he always ends up all cut up, or with a ton of broken limbs and bones.

I AM currently reading the book, MARY TODD LINCOLN. I feel sympathy for Mary from her childhood. Her mother died along with 2 of her new born brothers. Her father payed little attention to poor Mary. And after a short 6-months after her mothers death, her father remarried. Her new mother did not truly love them and had 9 new children. YOung Mary never got individual love and care. I feel really bad for her. I am so lucky my family isn't so messed up!
I just finished the book Uglies by Scott Westerfeld. I feel bad for the main character, Shay, because Shay isn’t sure if she wants to be pretty and would rather risk life on the outside. Her friend, Tally can’t wait to become pretty. But, soon Tally learns becoming Pretty might not be as fun as she hoped. I can't even imagine the kind of stress I would be under if I were in that situation. I'm just glad that Tally and Shay figured out how to deal with her problems. Read the book to find out how!
In class we just finished the book The Miracle Worker. I have sympathy for Annie Sullivan because she gets beaten up by Helen and has trouble understanding her. The story tells you how hard it is on him, and how hard it is being a vampire. He is also in love with a mortal, so i feel bad that Edward can never be together with her.

I'm not sure if this applies, but I think it does. It's the book I'm writing (but will actually get published.) Anyway, I feel sympathy for the main character, Darkke, because he has become a vampire when he never asked for it. He has been kicked out of the only home he has known, uncontrolably killed his friends, been shot, and never knew his parents! Also, there is a whole army after him because he is so deadly. AND he has to travel with an obssesive little girl and an annoying magician. Now, he has to travel to the Underworld to see if he can't become human once more. Oh, and girls tend to obsses over him (because he's a vampire, he has godly beauty) and he can't get away from that. He is also quick to anger, and he tends to hurt people alot (not like he wants to.) All in all, most should show sympathy towards that. For I do, and I rarely have sympathy.
I am currently reading the book "Cirque Du Freak 12- Sons of Destiny" I feel sympathy for the main character, Darren Shan, because he is born, an average kid, but his life becomes entangled with vampires and other creatures and he must leave his life behind. I couldn't imagine having to leave my family and friends and go to fight bloody battles with vampires.

I just finished reading "The Amazing Adventures of Alfred Kropp" and I feel sympathy for Alfred for many reasons. First off his father abandoned his mother when he was born and he never got to meet him. Secondly his mother died of cancer when he was 11. Then his Uncle convinces Alfred to steal a sword from his Uncles boss. In the process of stealing the sword he puts the whole world in danger and gets his Uncle killed. Next Alfred has to go around the world to recover the sword and the rest is a very complicated process. I don't want to spoil the ending! I feel sympathy for Alfred because he has had to go through such a hard time and he has had such a difficult life.

But her coach did care and made her keep practiceing. So she went through the pain. Two years went by and the pain didn't go away so see had a docotor look at it, it got worser, so she couldn't do gymnastics for six weeks. Her coach was really mad but it was his fult. And Shannon had to go through that alot.

In my book I am reading about a kid named Toak. The father (Fa) has just been cut by a possesed bear and he is about to die and he knows it. So Fa asked Toak to get him all of his hunting gear so he can bring it on the "journey of death."I think this is because Toak is very brave and his father is not afraid to die.
in the book Maricle Worker i feel bad for Helen because she is in a world of darkness and she can't hear either. it must've been very frustrating. Also, I feel sympathy for Anne Sullivan because it must've been hard work to teach and try to understand helen. The child was always throwing temper tantrums and didn't know whether or not to trust Annie.(sarah e.)
I just finished a book called "This lullaby" by Sarah Dessen. It's about this girl Remy and her dad was a musician and he wrote her a song called "This lullaby." Also, her parents are divorced and her mother is getting re-married for the 5th time. I know I wouldn't be really happy if my mom got re-married 5 times but I do know how it feels to only have one parent by your side all the time because my parents are divorced so I could really imagine how it felt for her.

I am currently reading the book Impulse, and this character Tony likes guys and he is a guy. I give him sympathy because in the place he was sent off to called Aspen Springs which is kind of a home for the "crazy" people there is this girl named Vanessa. He can't stop thinking about her even though he doesn't like girls so he is all confuse so I feel bad for him. I also have sympathy for Vanessa because she almost cut her hand off on purpose, so I have sympathy for her too, because she needs some help.

In the Pendragon series I feel bad for the main character, Bobby Pendragon. He was just a normal guy having a really nice life and he randomly gets thrown into all this madness about being the only hope in saving the universe against a demon who can't be killed. Every five seconds he's being thrown into a whole new situation, and he always ends up all cut up, or with a ton of broken limbs and bones.

I AM currently reading the book, MARY TODD LINCOLN. I feel sympathy for Mary from her childhood. Her mother died along with 2 of her new born brothers. Her father payed little attention to poor Mary. And after a short 6-months after her mothers death, her father remarried. Her new mother did not truly love them and had 9 new children. YOung Mary never got individual love and care. I feel really bad for her. I am so lucky my family isn't so messed up!

I just finished the book Uglies by Scott Westerfeld. I feel bad for the main character, Shay, because Shay isn’t sure if she wants to be pretty and would rather risk life on the outside. Her friend, Tally can’t wait to become pretty. But, soon Tally learns becoming Pretty might not be as fun as she hoped. I can't even imagine the kind of stress I would be under if I were in that situation. I'm just glad that Tally and Shay figured out how to deal with her problems. Read the book to find out how!
In class we just finished the book The Miracle Worker. I have sympathy for Annie Sullivan because she gets beaten up by Helen and has trouble understanding her. Also she is underestimated by Mr. Keller and has a hard time talking to Helen. I would never be able to deal with a family like that.

Right now I am reading the book called Twilight. I feel bad for Edward who is a vampire because you see how badly he wishes he can be human. The story tells you how hard it is on him, and how hard it is being a vampire. He is also in love with a mortal, so i feel bad that Edward can never be together with her.
A character that I feel sympathy for in a novel I'm reading would have to be Kristen from the book "Crank". Kristen goes through so much trouble because of one boy who introduced her to crystal meth which is a very addictive drug. She is failing school and having trouble with friends and family.

He did NOT ask to become a vampire, and now he has to struggle through each day with the sweet scent of Bella just dancing on his tounge. He also has to face a family called the volturi who threaten to kill Bella if he does not make her a vampire also, AND a wacko nut job vampire named Victoria is also out for Bella because Edward killed her "mate" so now she has to kill Edwards' "mate" too. Basically Edward is a loving caring "vegetarian" vampire.

I'm not sure if this applies, but I think it does. It's the book I'm writing (but will actually get published.) Anyway, I feel sympathy for the main character, Darkke, because he has become a vampire when he never asked for it. He has been kicked out of the only home he has known, uncontrolably killed his friends, been shot, and never knew his parents! Also, there is a whole army after him because he is so deadly. AND he has to travel with an obssesive little girl and an annoying magician. Now, he has to travel to the Underworld to see if he can't become human once more. Oh, and girls tend to obsses over him (because he's a vampire, he has godly beauty) and he can't get away from that. He is also quick to anger, and he tends to hurt people alot (not like he wants to.) All in all, most should show sympathy towards that. For I do, and I rarely have sympathy.

I feel sympathy for the main character, Darren Shan, because he is born, an average kid, but his life becomes entangled with vampires and other creatures and he must leave his life behind. I couldn't imagine having to leave my family and friends and go to fight bloody battles with vampires.
The book I am reading is "Cirque Du Freak 12- Sons of Destiny" In this book I feel sorry for the main character, Darren Shan. He was born an average kid, but must leave everything behind to go and live with vampires and fight gruesome battles. I couldn't imagine leaving all of my family and friends behind forever.

I just finished reading "The Amazing Adventures of Alfred Kropp" and I feel sympathy for Alfred for many reasons. First off his father abandoned his mother when he was born and he never got to meet him. Secondly his mother died of cancer when he was 11. Then his Uncle convinces Alfred to steal a sword from his Uncles boss. In the process of stealing the sword he puts the whole world in danger and gets his Uncle killed. Next Alfred has to go around the world to recover the sword and the rest is a very complicated process. I don't want to spoil the ending! I feel sympathy for Alfred because he has had to go through such a hard time and he has had such a difficult life.
