If the author added another chapter or sentence at the end of a novel, what might it be? Make sure you include the author and title as well as specific information from the novel to support your answer.
I would change the ending of Airbourne by Kenneth Opel so that the main character(whose name I have forgotten) gets the taxidermy set from the blimp instead of not getting it and having the whole blimp catch fire and fall to the ground leaving behind all of its treasures. I would also have the robbers stay on the ship as it falls with nothing of any value in it. I would make the character become a hero to the museums of odd relics. ---> Stephen O.
i would change the ending of the book Walk Two Moons. In the ending of this book, the little girl finds out that her mom is no longer living. she died in a bus accident. Then the book kind of just ends after that. i would have liked to known more about what the girl did after all of that, and how she delt with it and her family.
If I could, I would change the end of the book "Breaking Through" by Francisco Jimenez. As Frankie, or Panchito, is on his way to college, he passes by all of the old places he used to go to school and work. It then says,"After so many years, I am still moving." I think following that line there should be a quick summary of what happened to him and his family. I think the author keeps you wondering too much and leaves the story hanging. It would have really interested me to hear about how his family grew and moved along with their lives because of the story line. Other than that, I loved everything about this book! -ALI.M.-
I would change the ending of Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows because I wanted the series to keep going on. I did not think that Harry's quest was going to fit into the book. I would change that Voldemort escapes and that Harry tries to find him again in the next book Parker R. Per: 1-3
I would change the ending of The pearl, by Steven Steinbeck. I don't like how Coyotito dies, and how Kino throws the pearl back into the ocean. I would have made it to have Coytitio not die, but be very sick.I would also make Kino die because he feels bad for his baby's suffering and is depressed.I didn't think it was cool how the baby died when he did nothing. I think this would make the book more interesting and add more spice to it! -Liz (H.)
WARNING: THIS CONTAINS SPOILERS FOR THE SEVENTH HARRY POTTER BOOK!!!!! If I could change the ending of the seventh Harry Potter book, I would keep it just the way it was so that Harry walks to his death, faces, Voldemort, fakes his death, faces Voldemort again, and beats him, but I would make so that when Voldemort dies, all the people he’s killed (especially the ones he made Horcruxes out of) would come back to life. Not just ghosts, like in the fourth book, but actually come back to life as real people. I think this would be a much, much happier ending. Gina D.
i would change the ending of the book, The Five People You Meet in Heaven, because at the end the guy sees his wife standing on the beach and they hug and stuff but i would like to find out more about what happened to them after that and what they did in heaven.
I would change the ending of the book called “Just As Long as We’re Together,” because around the end of the book, Stephanie’s parents get divorced, and she doesn’t know about it and gets really upset when she does find out. I thought that this ending was really sad, and her parents shouldn’t of have broken up. Stephanie and her friends seem like they are always happy, and keeping her secret away from her friends, starts to ruin her friendship. Liana F.
If I could change an ending to a book it would be the ending of The Pearl. I thought that the ending was so sad. I would have made Keno get wounded but not die.
If I could change a ending of a book I would pick L8r,g18r by Lauren Myrcale. The book is about how high school girls have been friends forever, but at the end of high school they all seperate and go different ways. I wanted the author to add in the book what happened to them and if they are still friends even if there all in different states. -Scarlett S.
